The breakfast was very rich and delicious. The single room was large enough for one person and the area noisy though, however it allows you to get an insight into a typical athenian neighbourhood. It is undoubtly more safe than other areas in Athens around and offer a lot of bars and cafes. price cheap compared to other 3 star hotels. Friendly staff.
The shower was tiny and the room a little bit smelly due to the smoking habits of the previous clients i suppose. it is possible that you will meet homeless people outside the hotel but they are not dangerous. Area known for its leftists frequenters.

I was very pleased and highly recommend Exarhion Hotel. The hotel management was very helpful and went out of their way to assist me. The hotel staff and cleaners were kind and professional. Central location, within walking distance of most central Athens places of interest.

Dude, the nearby eats were unreal! Just a hop away was O Kavvouras with their epic salads and Cookou Food for the best bites. Plus, my room had a sweet balcony perfect for chillin' after a day of exploring. The beds were super comfy, I was out like a light every night!
Now, let's talk about the not-so-great stuff-a bit sketchy with cops and all upon entry, and the bathroom was tiny. The A/C was on the fritz, and that toilet tank? Noisy all night. The bread at breakfast was cold with no toaster, and I checked out early without a refund-the services just weren't there.

A rooftop terrace with a view
The rooftop terrace was a good surprise, offering fine views of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. Clean rooms with daily housekeeping.
The shower was cramped and not well-secured. The breakfast lacked variety, as it remained the same throughout my stay, a bit disappointing.

The fact that it's located in a very lively area with bars and restaurants. Everything is within walking distance. The rooms are basic but they have everything, ac - tv, even slippers and toothbrush and toothpaste! Really very good value for money
It's a little bit noisy especially during weekends but it didn't really matter for us because we expected it!

The front desk staff were really friendly.
The hotel was alright for a budget weekend break, but the noise from the square outside kept us awake every night. The breakfast was also pretty disappointing. Cereal, or ham/cheese on toast for 4 mornings running wasn't very nice.

We spent 6 nights in Athens. The staff was very nice, the room very clean and we had a nice view to Lycabettus hill. The location Is near the city center and the touristic objectives. The breakfast was ok.
in the night the location is not very safe. Sometimes, the music on the street was disturbing.

Incredible hotel with good wi-fi, the location was magnificent on the street in neighborhood. Spotless, practical room with central heating, an iron and a TV set. Cheap food, especially satisfactory breakfast.

I almost thought about giving this place a decent review, but the broken shower and horrendous bathroom totally ruined it for me. And the noise? You can forget about sleep. As someone who expected a complimentary upgrade for my troubles, it was disheartening to be treated like just any other guest.

I liked its cleanliness and location. The staff was extremely helpful when I had questions. If they did not know the answer to my needs, they went out of their way to find someone who could help me. I would return to this hotel again when visiting Greece.

Very friendly staff, clean, very recently renovated, easy access to shops, restaurants, tavernas and sightseeing, the metro station just five minutes walk, the perfect place for us! And Eftychios, George and the other staff as always very helpful for everything we need. Thank you guys!! PS. Don't forget to taste their pizza and sandwiches at their shop just next to the hotel. Marvelous!

Room on the fourth floor featured a balcony that provided a neat view of the club across the street without the disturbance I expected. Cleanliness of the hotel stood out .
The bathroom shower was cramped and poorly secured, leading to a less-than-comfortable washing experience. Noise from outside was noticeable, particularly during the mornings, and the breakfast selection was minimal-consisting mostly of cold cereal and some toast, with no real variety to speak of.
